The composition of the QED executive team is as follows:
Nancy Chadehumbe - Chief Executive Officer
Nancy has extensive experience in the financial services sector and is an entrepreneur. Nancy has B.Sc (Economics) Honours, MBA (Cum Laude), FRM, Dip. Law and Tax and is currently studying a Doctorate in Business Administration focusing on financial risk management. Her area of specialization was credit risk management and corporate banking. Nancy has invested over two decades in the banking industry. Nancy has worked for local and international corporations in the financial services industry and also has experience in corporate finance and management consulting. Nancy pioneered Quintessential Africa Logistics, which is a logistics and distribution company. Nancy is the deputy chairperson of the Investments Analysts Society of Southern Africa.
Boitumelo Mosako – Financial Director
Boitumelo is the financial director of QED. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Her area of specialization was auditing and corporate. She obtained her venture capital skills from QAH through Triumph Venture Capital and sits on the boards of several of the company’s subsidiaries and portfolio companies. Boitumelo also sits as an alternate trustee and Investment Committee member on the SAIPFund. Boitumelo chairs the SABS’ audit committee and is a member of the SABS’ board. Boitumelo worked her way out of auditing and went on to gain valuable experience and skills in corporate finance at one of the world’s largest commercial banks prior to QAH.
Tafadzwa Sithole – Legal Executive
Ms. Tafadzwa Sithole serves as Quintessential Enterprise Development’s Legal Executive. Tafadzwa is responsible for the management of all legal affairs for the company including advising on new business ventures, the negotiation of contracts, corporate governance, statutory compliance and general commercial transactions. Tafadzwa joined QED from Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe Limited, a subsidiary of Standard Bank South Africa Limited; she served as Manager, Collateral in the Credit Department. Tafadzwa has legal experience in the banking and finance sector having worked with local and international banks.
Tafadzwa holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
Thando Sibotshiwe - Corporate Communications Executive
Mrs Thando Sibotshiwe is a trained Business Analyst. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Wits University, Thando was employed as a Business Analyst at the American International Group South Africa, AIG SA. AIG SA is a global short term insurance company. Subsequent to leaving AIG, she joined Innovation Maven. Innovation Maven is a company that provides global-quality insurance software and service solutions to the insurance industry. As a Business Analyst, Thando was responsible for analysing the business needs of the clients to help identify business problem and propose solutions. Thando also performed the liaison function between the client and the organization. It is because of this background that Thando is set to run the Corporate Communication division of Quintessential Enterprise Development.
QED team also has access to technical skills employed in QAH an associate shareholder of QED. This results in the QED team having a healthy balance of strategic and technical skills as well as entrepreneurial and executive management experience. |
